Education
Members can partake in a variety of courses geared towards both adults and young people.
Our club holds 2 Hunter Trapper Education (HTE) classes annually -- one in June and one in August. The HTE course is a requirement for the Pennsylvania Game Commission to purchase a hunting license.
We also sponsor the Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC), which is a group associated with the National Rifle Association. National competitions are held every other year at the Whittington Center in Raton, NM and in Mansfield, PA.
The local 4H group also comes to our club on Friday nights to learn safe gun handling and marksmanship.
