keith heckler

Keith Scott Heckler of Bedminster Township passed away suddenly Monday, April 13, 2015. He was 46 years old when he made his way home to Our Heavenly Father.

Keith was the supportive and beloved husband of Cynthia Ann (Phillips) Heckler, and the devoted father of Jacob Heckler, and Jessica Heckler. Keith is also survived by his parents, Lamar and Emma I. 'Sparkie' (Crossgrove) Heckler of Perkasie; a sister, Denise 'Denni' Carey of Philadelphia; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jean and Walter Wurster of Bedminster; a brother-in-law, Edward Phillips and his wife, Sandra of Bedminster; and a sister-in-law, Patricia McVaugh of Bedminster. Additionally, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends mourn the loss of this vibrant soul.
Upon graduating from Pennridge High School in 1986, Keith developed his craft as a carpenter/builder, working for several local and family-owned businesses over the years, including Stairworks, Inc., Telford, and David Brooke Rush Builders, Perkasie. Always willing to lend a hand to family and friends in need, Keith often shared his talents with others and even built the home in which his family resides.

He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Ottsville.

Keith enjoyed sports and had several hobbies. An avid fisherman and hunter, he was an active member of the Branch Valley Fish & Game Club, Perkasie. Keith also played volleyball for several competitive and recreational teams. Actively involved in the lives of his children, Keith also coached several of their sports teams, including softball and baseball at Deep Run Valley Sports Association, Hilltown, and basketball for St. John the Baptist Catholic Church CYO.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial 3 p.m., Thursday, April 16, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4050 Durham Road, Ottsville, PA 18942. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Ottsville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday evening, at the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main Street, Telford.
